Somewhere along the line of loving horses and the business of horses, the horses themselves have been forgotten and neglected. In show rings, racetracks and performance barns around the world equines are broken, forgotten, even killed. In this day and age, it seems an infrequent thing for our equine friends to be treated with loyalty, full commitment and fairness. R.E.S.T. aims to change all that.

We strongly believe that there are many people who truly love their horses yet cannot manage them. Just as there are many who love their horses yet cannot afford to keep or finance an equine rehabilitation. There are an equal amount of those who just had the plain misfortune of investing in the wrong horse. Through stringent guidelines, R.E.S.T. will take your horse as a charitable tax donation to you, physically and mentally rehabilitate him and place him in a quality home where he will be able to meet his and his new owners’ expectations. Quality care is key in rehabilitating, treating and re-training your equine donation.

R.E.S.T. provides only the best in care for the horses. From specialized diets to regular turnout with rotational pastures, one of our most important tasks is to make these horses healthy and happy. Equine Health includes but is not limited to veterinary, chiropractic, acupuncture, farrior and behavioral modification work. We will provide treatment for our horses as often as necessary for as long as necessary*. In the end placing the healthiest horse he can be.

Each R.E.S.T. horse will undergo a behavioral analysis. This enables us to see how safe each horse is, or isn’t, and where to begin. Based on this analysis, each horse will undergo intensive one-on-one training ensuring as full a return to his mental capabilities as possible. Once a horse meets his full mental capacity his peace and happiness are only a matter of communication and patience.

• Note it will be a legal contract for new owner to continue treatment of horse for as long a period as R.E.S.T. deems necessary.
• Every R.E.S.T qualified individual will have full disclosure of physical and behavioral treatment and training per horse.
